    please

if anyone comes across a full list of names of deceased please pass it my way...it's hard to sift through all the news on the subject after watching it for 24 hours...so if anyone comes across a list i would very much appreciate it

i have seen a preliminary list of 14, and thankfully i don't know any, at least by name...we found the status of one more teammate, so we're down to 4 and hopeful they're not in the last list of 18

again thanks in advance, i probably won't be near my computer again until after the service at 2 but i will be checking as soon as i get back

Here's a partial list from MSNBC...they say it will be updated as the other folks are identified.

Ross Alameddine, 20, Saugus, Mass., according to family friend Bob Palumbo. Alameddine was a sophomore English major who reportedly was gunned down in French class.
Jamie Bishop, age unknown, an instructor in foreign languages and literature (German).

A friend, Gregory Walton, a 25-year-old who graduated last year, said he feared his nightmare had just begun. "I knew when the number was so large that I would know at least one person on that list," said Walton. "I don't want to look at that list. I don't want to. It's just, it's going to be horrible, and it's going to get worse before it gets better," Walton said.
Daniel Perez Cueva, 21, a student from Peru who was studying international relations. He was shot during French class, according to his mother, Betty Cueva.
Kevin Granata, age unknown, an engineering science and mechanics professor.
Caitlin Hammaren, age unknown, sophomore majoring in international studies and French.
Emily Hilscher, age unknown, from Woodville, Va., a freshman majoring in animal and poultry sciences, equine science.

Jarrett Lane, age unknown, from Narrows, Va., a senior majoring in civil engineering.
Henry Lee, age unknown, from Roanoke, Va., a freshman majoring in computer engineering.
Liviu Librescu, 76, an engineering science and mathematics lecturer. He was born in Romania, immigrated to Israel in 1978 and moved to Virginia in 1985. "My father blocked the doorway with his body and asked the students to flee,"? his son Joe Librescu said in a telephone interview from his home outside of Tel Aviv. "Students started opening windows and jumping out."?
G.V. Loganathan, 51, an Indian-born lecturer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, his brother G.V. Palanivel told the NDTV news channel in India. Palanivel said he was informed by Loganathan's wife, who had identified the body. "We all feel like we have had an electric shock, we do not know what to do,"? Palanivel said. "He has been a driving force for all of us, the guiding force."? Loganathan, who was born in the southern Indian city of Chennai, had been at Virginia Tech since 1982.
Juan Ortiz, age unknown, a graduate student in civil engineering.
Reema Samaha, age unknown, from Centreville, Va., a freshman.

    Mary Karen Read

Friends remembered Read, a 19-year-old freshman from Annandale, Va., for her smile and her caring nature. Read was a fan of marching band and French.

"She was really caring, never had bad intentions for anybody, she put everybody else before herself," friends told FOX News on Tuesday.

Read was born in South Korea into an Air Force family and lived in Texas and California before settling in the northern Virginia suburb of Annandale.

She considered a handful of colleges, including nearby George Mason University, before choosing Virginia Tech. It was a popular destination among her Annandale High School classmates, according to her aunt, Karen Kuppinger.

She had yet to declare a major.

"I think she wanted to try to spread her wings," said Kuppinger, of Rochester, N.Y.

Kuppinger said her niece had struggled adjusting to Tech's sprawling 2,600-acre campus. But she had recently begun making friends and looking into joining a sorority.

    Daniel O'Neil

O'Neil, a graduate student in environmental engineering from Lincoln, R.I., graduated in 2002 from Lincoln High School and last year received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., before heading to Virginia, according to The Providence Journal.

A Lafayette publication said that while there, O'Neil was vice president of the Arts Society. His high school yearbook noted he was on the cross country and outdoor track teams, the drama club and the National Honor Society, according to the Providence Journal.

A high school friend, Steve Craveiro, said O'Neil played guitar and wrote his own songs. Craveiro described O'Neil as smart, responsible and a hard worker.

He said O'Neil was destined to be extremely successful.

    Jocelyne Couture-Nowak

French language teacher and former Montreal resident, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. She taught at Virginia Tech along with her husband, Jerzy Nowak, a horticulture professor.

    Jeremy Herbstritt

Herbstritt was of Johnstown, Penn., according to WJAC-TV. A graduate student in engineering, he had received his bachelor's degree from Penn State, WJAC reported.

    Erin Peterson

    Student from Centreville, Va.

    Brian Bluhm

    Graduate student in Civil Engineering

Julie Pryde, 23, of Middletown, N.J., was a graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences. She traveled to Peru with a professor to work with students there on improving water systems in South America, was fluent in Spanish and enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Rachael Hill, 18, of Richmond, Va., a freshman. She had graduated from Grove Avenue Christian School, where Pastor Mark Becton said he had spoken with her mother.

"When you talk to a parent who has just lost a child over something as violent or tragic as this, you just don't know how you will be able to comfort them," Becton said, according to the Richmond Times. "But the first words out of her mouth were, 'We want all the glory to go to God, because that's the way Rachael would have wanted it.'"
