That explains a lot then.
There are more civil and less neanderthal-like actions than throwing a punch.
You'll shoot your eye out.

I am wondering if this lady may be Olympia (Kiser last time I knew her). She's the one who stormed into JJK and decked Alvey (the principal). Having known her for years, if it is indeed her, I am taking this all with a grain of salt and knowing it is way overblown. If the grandkid is like her 2 sons (if it s her), I can certainly understand the problem.

Yea? Well whatever! You don't handcuff a child at school that young.....unless you are the police and see it fit to do so.I have never heard that it was even allowed by the staff anyways.

And NO I don't think I'm part of what is wrong with the system. My kids have never been in trouble with the school system.I can protect my children and still disapline them. And teach them right. In fact they are pretty well behaved boys. But sometimes it isn't always the child. We all know there are bullies at all these schools.

Did you actually think that handcuffs are standard issue for school administrators or teachers? Read a school's code of conduct and it will tell you exactly what we are allowed to do when correcting/disciplining students. You won't find handcuffing.

Re: Wise Primary Student Handcuffed

It shows that you have never been in that predicament. But, the first time a parent decides to lay hands on me will be the last...prolly my last day on the job as well. When parents think they know their child, maybe they should slip a voice activated tape recorder in their back pack someday...or just make their way to school sometime and watch from afar. IMO, this kid prolly needed what he got..regardless of what his granny has to say. That'll be the first person standing there when he's 21 and going to jail for murder saying "Well, he didn't mean to. He's not that kind of kid"...yeah whatever.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....
