Ohio teen gets 44 years for beating disabled woman

HAMILTON, Ohio "? A judge has sentenced an Ohio teenager convicted in the torture beating of a mentally disabled woman to 44 years in prison.
Seventeen-year-old Cheyenne Blanton was sentenced Friday in Butler County Common Pleas Court.
Blanton and 17-year-old Joseph Nagle were accused of binding 19-year-old Ashley Clark in February and beating her for several hours. Prosecutors said the teens shaved Clark's head and soaked her in water before making her walk barefoot outside in the snow.
Blanton and Nagle each pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, felonious assault, kidnapping and vandalism.
Nagle's sentencing is set for Oct. 14. He could receive up to 59 years in prison.

I wonder if she was really really mentally disabled or just a low iq and they played it up. I remeber a few yrs back on inside edition or one of those shows. They showed a guy that was supposedly mentally disable partying in a club and smoking reefer

Im not Condoning it. But if she was real bad off she should have had someone watching her. I know quite afew folks that are considerd mentally disabled for check reasons and can ride a 4 wheeler every weekend

Regardless if she was "real bad off" or not, or if she "should have had someone watching her" is irrelevant. It happened to her by, I suppose, by 2 young adults who weren't "real bad off". Our courts don't try the victims, but the perpetrators.
