WEBER CITY – Scott County authorities say a Gate City man protesting the sale of a synthetic marijuana product known as K2 drove a large truck through the front window of the Highway Boutique Friday morning.
Billy Gene McClellan, 49, of Gate City is facing charges as a result of the incident.
McClellan was driving a Ford F-350 Super Duty pickup truck.
The Highway Boutique was closed at the time of the crash, which occurred at 9:08 a.m., and no one was inside.
At about 10 a.m. McClellan was being treated within an ambulance at the scene, while the truck was still inside the building.
Of course this was the only reason Highway Boutique opened a store in Weber City was to be able to sell K2 and similar products once TN outlawed it.

As a poster here previously stated "what's wrong with people these days"?
There used to be a thing called "personal responsibility" in this country. Now we just outlaw everything offensive to us.
Makes ya wonder......

A better question is why would anyone destroy a perfectly good truck to run it into that Hippie Joint?

I can agree with you about the Ford part.lol! As for the hippie joint I have never been in there and never will go in there. Not my cup of tea. haha.
Only one I have heard was injured was Tommy Chongs line of merchandise. :mooning:
Seriously I hope no one was injured either.
Re: Smoking incense K2 and other stuff
Actually, it isn't a "hippie" joint as u suggest. They sell all kinds of stuff, not just stuff dealing with the "hippie" culture. It is a very successful business.

Now, when it was first opened, it was known as The Highway Head Shop, meaning they sold mostly paraphenalia for pot smokers. Later on, throught the years, it developed into a pretty cool place for other things such as souvenirs, and clothes.
