I still don't understand why 'selected' people are having service cut off and no signal.
or whatever is happening.
Everyone I know is very pleased with AT&T.
What am I missing?

When you become senile, you won't know it.
I have been wondering the same thing. My daughter's phone has been doing that lately. I am wondering if it has to do with the brand of phone everyone is using.
Don't know if phone would have anything to do with it or not. NSSB and his wife lost service about 4 this morning according to his facebook, they have BB Torch.

Lost service indoors around 2ish, came back on around 0430. Had 1-2 bars outside.

AT&T announced that starting tomorrow AT&T users can call any mobile number on any network for free. You have to have a qualified calling plan (not sure what qualifies) and unlimited messaging though. You can read the press release here.
You have to go to this website tomorrow to sign up for it.
