Those enrollments were for 8-12 and all that counted for sports were 10-12.

ya know, i was pretty much for consolidation eventually, but something i heard today has got me pretty ****ed. the kids at St. Paul are going to have a limited curriculum and if they want to get more they need to go to Coeburn? what the **** kind of crap is that? I thought this whole thing was to benefit the kids? I know that they have shut down every plan that has been presented, ( some of them were actually pretty decent BTW,) but surely they can come up with something better than that.
Cant we all just get along?
The really screwed up thing about that is St. Paul doesn't mind that at all, as long as they get to wear their purple shirts with 'Deacons' on it they're fine with it.
and that is what this whole mess is about, people talking about how "proud" they are of their communities, if they want to be proud of their communities they should have went with one of the plans of building new schools instead of letting it get to this. The person with a question about property values made me LOL. well, in appy/pv's instance, there would have been about a 5 mile gap that will NOT drop property values. IMHO building a newly updated school within 10 miles of a town should UP the property values.
