What are your thoughts on the recall petition filed on Jess Powers?

I'm glad Bill got that filed the other day, I don't know what will come of it, but it will send him a message. There's recall petitions for all anti-members on the board I believe, there's one going around still for Betty if anyone wants to sign it and is from District 3.

The only time dawgman comes on here is to harass people over the consolidation issue. Get over it dude, it HAS HAPPENED!!!

Mr. Greene's wife is the sister of Jeff Perrys mother. Go check it out.... I believe Kilgore has one on him too. You all say we need to heal but you are the ones that keep stiring it up. I didn't say one thing about consolidation. Hell lets get one for Ted, Mike, Phillip, hell lets get rid of the entire central office while we at it and start fresh.

I'm good friends with the Greene's and I'm almost completely positive that you're wrong and confused with someone else. I'm having lunch with Bill and J. Kennedy Monday, I'll ask, but pretty sure that's not true. Thing is, the ones again the pro-members and Nolan have no merit, they have done nothing to warrant their removal, the other 4 have many times and do have a legit chance to be removed.

I'd really like to sign the recall petition. Isn't there one for Betty Cornett as well? If so, I'm there. I just need to be able to sign it.

Finally, dawgman, get over it. About all I've heard from many anti consoliation folks is conspiracy theories. We, on the pro-consoliation side, have tried to be positive about it. Don't make the mistake of thinking you guys are the only ones losing schools. Guess what? We're losing schools too. There will be no more Powell Valley either. Do I hate to see these schools go? Absolutely. I do think it's for the better of the county. All I'm hearing from many anti-consolidation people is rhetoric that could cause town wars. If there are fights that happen as a result, it'll be because of most of the ant-consolidation rhetoric and the parents.

Consolidation is happening. That's just the reality of the matter.

For anyone that wants to sign the petition for Betty(must live in district 3), contact John Dean on Facebook. The one for Powers is already submitted and names couldn't be added, but there was more than enough signatures anyway.
