It's been very quiet all along the East Coast this winter. Eh don't worry. Usually when it's a quiet December we get a proper greeting from winter in January with a good snow.
Really in the past ten years or so the only times we have had a good snow in December has been the past two years. I guess we just got spoiled and expect it now. I'm kind of glad we haven't had a big one yet, especially one that cuts power like the one we had in December 2009. But there is still plenty of winter left. I can see two or three decent snows come and five or more small ones.
Its been lacking a little so far this year, although I'm not complaining. All it takes is one good storm to change the pattern though.
