My little nephew lives in Wilmington, he has called a hundred times worried to death about it. Let's just hope and pray that the people in N.C. dont have to go what New Orleans and the rest went thru with Katrina.
hey guys I want to ask for some prayers down here in Greenville, NC. We are under Hurricane watch today. It is supposed to head back out to sea, strengthen, and then make landfall again Tuesday morning. I have never been through a Hurricane and with all that happened on the Gulf Coast it's a little scary.

"Why so serious?"
I don't think that NC has any levies to break so they should be ok...they might have to evacuate but I doubt NC would be covered with water like New Orleans was because of the levy that broke.
Its not going to be anything like Katrina, the bad thing with this storm is the flooding, the storm is moving so slow its dropping alot of rain. All the wind off the hurricane is blowing the water back into the river canals.
Wilmington is getting hit pretty hard, it's not supposed to hit Greenville fully until 7 tonight.
I hope everything is going well for you LPDBlueDevils.
I called a buddy I graduated HS with today to check on him, and his wife. He is a state trooper, and is living in New Bern. He said they just got a lot of rain. A ditch by their road looks more like a creek than a ditch at 10:30 this morning.
I am glad that this didn't end up being as bad as Isabel. That storm done some damage 2 years ago in NC, and VA.
