Appy?

I DID NOT want to post this on the main forum but I have heard from a person that SHOULD know that Leedy from Appy would not be able to play football at all this year due to some sort of hip problem.

I don't want this to be one of those wild run away rumors and I was just wondering if anyone here has any info on the situation to back it up or crush it.

In any case if it is true I hope it is nothing serious and he will recover OK

Hope it's not true. They are already without their QB tonight, and Leedy is to be their power runner. But, if they have a good line (and I suspect they will) and Ireson running behind it they will be tough regardless.

After asking Counts about it, if the rumor is right, the bigger picture sounds like health (if its even true and its bad that years of rumors, false rumors and the like that we're so jaded to believe anything).

Even though it 'should' make Appy easier to play if he is out, I hope that he's not, because there are bigger issues than football games. No high school kid should have to go through anything along those lines.

If its true, I'm sure it will be out tonight, and if its not, its a pretty crappy rumor to tell by someone.

The rumor mill has been awful lately - can appreciate taking it to a more private forum. Hopefully the young man wont have any long-term issues.

Can anyone confirm for me the game tonight is at Castlewood at 7:30?

Agreed. Hopefully everybody on here can keep things pretty hush hush. And like I said, hopefully its all a load of rubbish. LPD or someone started it trying to get the 'guard down'

...although I gotta admit, this one doesn't sound like the typical rumor mill junk
