I bet Max didn't appreciate that.
These little bastards are getting to be a handful.
We've been keeping them in our laundry room with the door closed. One slipped out the door this evening, wife couldn't find him. Looked under couch, beds, etc. Figured he was holed up in the pantry until she heard something in the kitchen. There was the little bugger with his head buried in our old cat's food bowl.

He seems to be ambivalent towards his new housemates. We haven't really let them interact all that much as he's not up to date on his vaccinations. He tends to stare, sniff a bit, then hide in the bathroom when we've let the kittens out to explore. He's hissed at momma a few times when she's gotten out.
I guess it's hard to go from being a loner for 13 years to having housemates.

You'd better keep Dooley out from under the refrigerator too.I gave your book to your brother from another mother today.

Nope, it's going to get worse over the next 2-3 weeks. They're already jumping. And they stampede when we open the door. Getting harder and harder to keep them in the laundry room.
It's been a joy. I haven't been around kittens since Max was a kitten. And that's been 13 years.
