how is the recoil on the Kel? I know the Glocks arent bad at all, if the Kel is the same thats probably what Ill get because of the price. the .40 Glock is a pretty decent sized caliber but it never really bounced on me at all.

Might be too strong for me. My shortened barrel Stevens is fine though.

Recoil isn't bad on the Kel comparable to the glock.

    Re: Advice on a gun

I've owned a Glock model 23 and a Sig Sauer P229, both .40 cals. As far as accuracy and the feel of the gun, the Sig would be my choice. For something to keep in the home a 12 gauge would be my first choice. Mossberg's are a little cheaper price wise than Remington's, but they are well made too.
