Nice to see there are other brothers on here.
33rd degree so you are now a Shriner then.
I started studying last night with my uncle and it isn't as bad as I was anticipating picked up alot of it last night. Was talking to the Lodge Master from Pound today and we were going over some things and he said I should be through this first part in a week.

Im teasing, 33rd degree are the highest. George H. Bush was unless I am mistaken a 33rd degree, FDR may have been as well. I have often debated beginning the process of joining myself. I still may.
how do you join?
I would recommend it for anyone to join. 33rd degree isn't that far out of the question, you have to be at least 30th degree (I believe, maybe 32nd) to be a Shriner and you know how many of them there are.

I dunno if it works like that, they are a pretty elite group. you start getting into the blacknobility and such. I know a decent amount on the story of that stuff, not saying im a n expert by any means, it was a research project we did in graduate school.

I guess you are reffering to the Shriner part. I am not sure what all goes into becoming one other than you do have to be in the 30's degree of Masonry. I have a good friend that is a Shriner so I will ask him next time I see him.
