Sorry I just wanted to put this on here for any golfers thinking of trying the new drivers. I tried out the square driver today (had a demo at Jonesville Country Club) straightest and farthest club I've ever used.. Came straight home and bought a Nike Sasquatch Sumo 2
Honestly starightens out your drives.

I don't know how people swing those huge things. 6 years ago I thought a 320 was big.

I just need something that makes my irons look semi-fair. I can drive 'fairly straight', not much distance, but still normally where I want the drive to go. I can putt fair, I can chip sometimes ok but irons is 10 shots and a lot of prayers normally.
I know mostly its just consistency, and I play 2-3 times a year (if that), but it would be nice to have a round where the beautiful straight drive, followed up by the nice iron shot isn't followed up by the ground ball to short, and then lord knows what the fourth/fifth/etc shots are.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Usually starting out people should go a club or 2 up and not try to kill the ball just focus on making contact. Focusing on keeping your head down your entire swing will help keep from topping. Most people who top the ball quite a bit have kind of a baseball swing. Were their left leg c-o-c-k-s back in their back swing.
BUT the most important part of golf is to be consistent and this takes all kinds of practice and unfrortunately none of us can go spend every day out on a driving range [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

My biggest issue (or at least my best excuse LOL) was using old clubs that were warped when I first hit golf balls some. I learned to adjust to those clubs, and haven't been unable to unlearn the bad habits.
One day, maybe I'll be able to play semi-regularly and not want to throw everything related to the game in the river as soon as I'm done.
