I wonder why? The NRA is absolutely full of [censored]. They send out their letters saying the Dems are going to take their guns away, but no one is. Just a scare tactic to keep their organization going, esp after Moses kicked the bucket.
As usual, you speak about something you know absolutely nothing about when you talk NRA. You think the NRA is a political group or something?? The NRA is composed of millions of gun owners like myself who fight for our rights, and encourage the continuation of our heritage as freedom loving Americans. Been a life member since 1978, and proud of it.
Again, if they were only after the Dems, why did they give Boucher an "A+" and Warner an "A"??????????

My step-father has been a member for quite a few years and I read the letters, they give a approval grade to whoever they think more people will flock to or think is right with most politicians IMO. I never said they were a political group, but with since they endorsed Regan I think it was, back in the 80's their endorsements have played a somewhat significant part in politics. If a person doesnt know much about a candidate, but is a member of a group like the NRA, then that group endorses a candidate..they will probably go for that person. Like I said I read the letters and think they are full of it. No one is trying to take your rifles away, maybe an uzi or tec-9. But tell me specifically what it is that they do to keep you from losing all of your guns? Can you sit here and tell me that if it wasnt for the NRA, there wouldnt be any guns left?
