Interesting

Saw on the news this morning that if B. HUSSEIN NoBama was an ordinary citizen he would not be allowed to work for the government. Seems he could not pass the FBI background check and would not be able to get a security clearance. Too many ties to terrorist organizations. Yep. This is what we need running the country.

    Re: Interesting

Speaking of ties.. McCain is trying to tie Obama to that Palestinian fellow - saying the relationship is too close.
I saw on more than one news source last night that McCain paid nearly $500K to the SAME guy.

Quote:

The McCain campaign, hoping to foment doubts about Barack Obama in the Jewish community, has complained that a newspaper has "suppressed'' a videotape of Obama attending a dinner with Rashid Khalidi, an Arab studies scholar and advocate of Palestinian rights, back in 2003.

But "the latest guilt-by-association target that the McCain campaign is using to hit Barack Obama could carry some collateral damage for its own candidate,'' the Huffington Post notes.
    .
During the 1990s, while McCain served as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI), the group distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center co-founded by Khalidi.

A 1998 tax filing for the McCain-led group shows a $448,873 grant to Khalidi's Center for Palestine Research and Studies for work in the West Bank, the Post notes. The relationship extends back as far as 1993, when McCain joined IRI as chairman.. Foreign Affairs noted in September of that year that IRI had helped fund several extensive studies in Palestine run by Khalidi's group, including over 30 public opinion polls and a study of "sociopolitical attitudes."

"Of course,'' the Post writes, "there's seemingly nothing objectionable with McCain's organization helping a Palestinian group conduct research in the West Bank or Gaza. But it does suggest that McCain could have some of his own explaining to do as he tries to make hay out of Khalidi's ties to Obama.''

Not sure who is trying to "tie" B. HUSSEIN to what organization. Just repeating what I saw on the news.
Also saw where a member of ACORN said he LIED about his ties to that organization. If he has done nothing wrong why does he refuse to tell the truth? I think the American people have a right to know about his past. His campaign certainly tried very hard to dig up something on Joe the Plumber simply because he asked a question. What is going to happen when somebody in Congress or the Senate disagrees with him? Prison?

If you have tried to learn as much as you can about your candidate and you are satisfied with him then you have done your civic duty. I can honestly say that a few months ago I was undecided. I have voted both dem and pub. B. HUSSEIN lost me by not being open and honest about his past. Too many unanswered questions for me.

    Re: Interesting

I was undecided for a long time, then one candidate pulled ahead and the other made steps backwards.

Nothing- he will have enough votes to get by anyway, like it or not. Thank your boy George. Obama could have just stood on camera and patted his foot while running a review of the last 8 years and won this election. Flush the toilet and get SOMEBODY else in the office. At least we will have something else to complain about. And a prospect that the 10 billion a month bleed will stop.
