Why is it that people, that others are complaining about them saying Merry Christmas? I have never heard of one complaint about some guy/woman in saying Merry Christmas to them on the street or something, has anyone? Highly doubt it. Where have you heard the complaints? From Company/Employee standpoint, when the company makes a policy to greet customers with "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas", no one cares if John Smith in Food City say's "Merry Christmas" to someone as he's walking out the door...it's probably the employee of FC saying it to a customer that's been the problem, the company will protect itself and to keep it's customers. Just an analogy, but not getting where this "I'm gonna say my Merry Christmas" riled up attitude when no one cares if you do, have at it...but people shouldn't be complaining when they get fired or something for not following those rules. Again, heard little complaints from Atheist groups with that, mostly other religious groups.
