It looks to me like that with that "Thank You" to God, he just unwittingly acknowledged that God is real. Just an observation on my part, though.

Actually it was a comedic way of playing on the "I would like to think God" line every other actor in the world has used, he just used it and said that, he's a huge atheist - that's like saying that if someone uses the word god, it's acknowledging an existence. I'm actually about to post an amazing piece by him that has explained atheism/non-believers stance better than I have ever seen before, put so simple, yet so brilliant.

He was just being mean spirited to the whole crowd, and it seems no one cared for his anctics.

He was a comedian and told jokes about the actors, nothing below the belt or over the line, a few actors got pissy because he picked on them. Boooohooo, wasn't mean spirited at all.

Actually, he did hit below the belt on at least one of his jokes when he announced Bruce Willis and Ashton Kucher's dad.

It is different when you are actually funny, but when others in the crowd are saying that it was unusually mean spirited then it steps beyond its intentions.

Gay men are nothing but child molesting pole smokers. Guess I can say that since I consider myself a comedian.

I never did think he was particularly funny, or good at anything.

Lol that's below the belt? Wow, I'd hate for you to actually hear some real dark humor.

They guy is very respected and very funny, that's not even close. The only ones that complained were the ones getting shots at them, which was all of about 4 people who couldn't took a joke, he got overwhelming support from every which way.

And what part of his jokes were anything close to that? Poor, failed attempt at some comparison. If he hadn't had thrown the thing about god in there, wouldn't hear any of this from anyone one of you all.

You were the one that brought it up, and the guy is not that funny or respected. You started this as another shot at Christianity just admit it.
