Anthony Campbell is by far the best. He needs to be doing D1, watch him and you will know why.

I agree, Anthony is the purest that our association has to offer.
I think the vast majority of the AOA refs are good officials. Each has their own strenghts and weaknesses.
Some lack the years of floor experience and knowledge.
Some have the experience but don't have the physical ability.
Some have neither one and don't care, its a paycheck.
(I use the term "Some" meaning a select few)

Yeah, I agree, Campbell is a great official. Jeff Day is another good official. The Hurst guy from Richlands is another good one. Jr. Salyers does a pretty good job and Kuzko always does good.

come on fatboy....... you sound like an altizer plant.... Kuzcho is a peacock. he watches the ball and not his primary, other officals dread working with him. hurst doesnt work the trail position. he officiates from half court. jr. does a good job.... jr deserves some recognition. every coach I have talked to dread altizer hurt and brown. they say its a football game when they are there. none works the mechanics as the book requires.

Kuzcho has probably some of the worst mechanics. Salyers is pretty good. I put him close to Campbell on mechanics. I still can't figure out who you are Archer.

Re: Basketball Ref's
My #1 crew would be Campbell- Roberts-Starnes and my back up would be Salyers.

Forgot about Roberts. Hes pretty good. Starnes is always on top of things, too. Stuart Mullins is a good ref. The Peery guy from Gate City is bad and the Harden guy from around Wise is terrible too. He kicked some coach out I heard for nothing. Altizer and Brown and Shupe are getting a little age on both of them. Still have pretty good judgement. Kucko is still a good official.
