Why does a coach not get in trouble for his sideline

A coach should control his lines and how many are allowed. All. Or just the ones who have connections. To me. It should be less. A coach can not control. many see that too many is too many.

Re: Why does a coach not get in trouble for his sideline

A coach can get in trouble if his sideline is flagged. It does not matter who the Unsportsmanlike penalty is on. If there are two unsportsmanlike penalties on the sideline then the head coach is supposed to be ejected. The officials in a game have no control on who is on the sideline but we can control what is said and done on that sideline.

Re: Why does a coach not get in trouble for his sideline

To help clarify the penalty, if an assistant gets an unsportsmanlike and the officials know for sure who it is, then the head coach still has to get two directly. But, if just the sideline is penalized for unsportsmanlike, then that goes to the head coach.
