Who wants to don the stripes?

The first meeting of the year for football officials in the AOA or those wanting to join the AOA will be Saturday July 26th at 9AM at Lebanon High School.

I hear from a local FB official that they will, in a few weeks, resort to 4-man crews. How will that affect the game?

It used to be common place if I am not mistaken in the late 80s and such. Its been done occasionally in recent years. I don't think this will be the norm. There may be 1 or 2 games a week at most that this happens in I would think, if it happens at all.

Exactly, Not likely to see 4 man crews in big district games either or such. But like said above it would only be for a couple of games at the most.

Why did they leave? Maybe they should be paid for travel, reimbursed for uniforms, and paid an adequate wage for calling a game. A man travel 80 miles round trip, work for 2 1/2 hours and get paid 60 bucks? Ridiculous in my opinion.

Since they do not get re-emberesed for there travel it may be a tax writeoff (Not as good as steight money but better than nothing)
