And you would probably be setting out the next week as well. Thats not necessarily a good defensive play. Its and unfair play in the fact that you gain a huge field position advantage if you allow the defense to force the ball into the endzone for a touchback instead of the ball being down at the 2.

I'm not talking about an intentional swat of the ball...I'm talking about the ball on the 2 rolling loose and a defensive player comes in trying to recover it but knocks it into the endzone in an attempt to recover. IMO, if the defense recovers that ball in the end zone, it's a touchback. Any other call penalizes a good defensive play. I'd gladly sit a week for blowin up over that call. If it's intentional swatting, I can see it..but no other way.

Anybody notice today in the Dallas game a punt hit the plyon and was ruled out of bounds...the whole senario we had on here a week or so ago about the ball and the plyon was an easy call.
