Another basketball question

If a player goes into the lane and makes contact with an opposing player and one official has a charge while another a block what is the proper thing to do here? Also, the basket went in? The officials at PV/JJK tonight ruled made basket, double foul, and a jump ball.........

Oddly enough, I've seen that called three times in the past three years. This was the first time it had been on a shot.

The call was correct except for the jump ball part. The ball should have been awarded to the defense automatically since the basket counted.
