I dont work basketball, but I am pretty sure the ref is treated as part of the court and as long as it did not go out of bounds, play continues.
Last night in the PV game, PV stole the ball, and was coming up the court when the ref got in the way, and kicked the ball, letting Twin Springs recover. Whats the correct call here? Stop play, or let it continue? Is the ref part of the court?

Play continues unless the official was out of bounds when he touched the ball.
