Back in the late 90's I was able to get Mr. McCarthy's autograph. If memory serves, it was through his website, I sent the $20 and requested a personal message along with the autograph. I remember sending it in January and after several months went by, I was a little worried. Not about the autograph or the money [I didn't care] but more about that he was alright and checking in at imdb.com. At the end of April, it finally arrived and not only did I get a wonderful autographed photo, but also a program and a second autographed photo from a play he had been performing during the three and a half months I had waited. And on top of that, he had addressed the envelope himself. I still have everything [including the envelope] and will cherrish it forever as he is a wonderful actor
