Invasion of the Body Snatcher

In the film "Invasion of the Body Snatcher", where was the restaurant where Kevin and Dana go to eat, but have to leave? I figure it was a real place, since the movie was shot on a very tight budget. Any reply would be helpful. It is one of my favorite classic movies of all time.

Here's a response directly from Kevin himself!:

"That was a funny little place, don't remember where it was, in the San Fernando Valley somewhere, in a poorly developed area. I'm not sure if they made that bar area or if was real. I think they found a somewhat delapidated structure and fixed it up for the movie."
