OF THIS TOPIC???
DAMN! I've never seen one! I'm quite curious but whenever I see them on the street in NYC I can't bring myself to buy one because I'm in the biz of protecting IPRs. Can I come over and watch yours? LOL!

Yea, the first one I ever bothered paying for. $10. But I bought it from a legit business, so they probably hiked the price 30% of cost.
You have to realize, they're made by someone with a tripod in the back of the theatre. So the sound is crap (catches mostly the back booming speaker-audio), audio coming up behind the audience, and a lotta the soundtrack overtakes verbal speech.
Can't get too angry about someone getting out of their seat to take a leak (which puts a MST3K sillouette in the picture).
Quality is usually comparable to a 3rd generation VHS dupe.
Still, I can watch it over & over until an authorized DVD is released, with extras.

I'll probably watch it only once or twice more, & mail it to ya. It's a DVD-R, which one of my machines can't play. Hehee, let you see how crappy the quality of a bootleg REALLY is!

But that's all boots are for; keep it for a month or two until the 'real' DVD gets released. They're disposable after a week or so.

I had picked up one of X-men 2 way back when that was 1st in theatre's and it was a load of bollocks.
..but that was what I expected. Ended up throwing the darn thing away.

Hey, I just saw...You're going to send it to me? really? Wow! Curiosity factor alone! Thank you! But, I mean, it hardly seems worth buying a boot for $10, you already paid $10 to see it in the theatre. And you can buy a previously viewed rental copy in the store for $7.99 - $12.99, and they're top quality! Not judging, but what's the appeal?

But this movie's still in theatres. There are no previously viewed rental copies available (yet).
Saw it once in theatres to be blown-away by the scope and destruction. Got the boot as a screener of the DVD rental, to watch whenever I want without having to pay $10 each viewing. Also, the first time I ever bought a boot. Was curious if the quality would differ from other peoples boots I've seen before (like Hellboy). It wasn't.

SO...as a man who has paid top dollar and stood on line for the premiere of this film in a commercial theatre.
AND!
As a man who paid that same admission fee again on a street corner to take a bootleg version of that DVD home with him!
Um....WHAT's my point...I have NO idea...can I buy you some popcorn?
