NCHFA Target
The Targeting Program serves low-income individuals with disabling conditions who need ongoing access to supportive services to obtain and/or maintain housing. Individuals interested in leasing a Targeted Unit must be referred by services providers (approved by the DHHS Division of Aging and Adult Services) to DHHS staff who manage waitlists for Targeted Units. At this time DHHS is prioritizing individuals who qualify for the Transitions to Community Living Initiative, Money Follows the Person program or homeless individuals with a disability. Targeted Units are primarily located at properties that received an allocation of Housing Credits. These properties are required to set-aside 10% of units for Targeted Units and may opt to set-aside up to 20% of units for Targeted Units.
