Awesome Woofer .
Dont be fooled by the price or even the frequency responce, this woofer has great subwoofer quality playing down to 20 hz. Remember the 48 hz is only the f3 measurement, it still performs below that. I am using this woofer in the vintage ohm "I" series that utilizes a 4-way system with the 55-2962 as the subwoofer. The ohm replacement is over 200$. This woofers performance is awesome.

The KB series is a unique design by MCM Audio Select that features a Kevlar-Paper Blend cone, a well-vented, die-cast frame, and copper integrated into the motor structure. We designed this series to compete with woofers that have nearly double the price tag; we exceeded our expectations. Don't take our word for it, try it for yourself and see what all of the excitement is about.

• Cone Material: Paper/Kevlar blend
• Surround Material: Rubber
• Basket: Die-cast aluminum
• Former: Black aluminum

• Outer Diameter: 6.81"
• Cut-out Diameter: 5.84"
• Mounting Depth: 3.24"
• Flange Thickness: 0.23"

• DC resistance Re: 6.5 (Ohm)
• Impedance: 8 (Ohm)
• Resonance frequency Fs: 42.6 (Hz)
• Maximum impedance Zm: 29.3 (Ohm)

Since 1979 Technical Brain has been dedicated to research and development of audio equipments as well as high quality audio repair and maintenance services.
With our expertise in audio gained from many years of experience, we launched our innovative audio system TB-Zero series in 2005 and have won great critical acclaim in Japan and beyond.
TB-Zero series is designed to be thoroughly faithful to sources.
Our ultimate goal is to recreate a sense of occasion in real music making.
Technical Brain launched a family of emitter resistance-less amplifiers in 2002.
(JP Patent No. 4284102)

In order to achieve true linearity and high-speed response, we made emitter resistance-less circuits which had zero-ohm emitter resistors and eliminated all contacts starting with the relays of the protection circuit, both of which affected sound quality a lot.
In addition, we derived power cables directly from a large size Flat Wire power transformer with large EI-core (20kg).
These innovative technologies affecting the sound quality attracted attention and attained a reputation as amplifiers of good sound quality.
Recently, several manufacturers have launched some amplifiers imitating our concept.
This must be the proof that our creative challenges have been appreciated.
It is our great delight that many people share and use our patented technology and ideas to improve their sound quality.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for a lot of music lovers who bought our products after listening and audio specialized magazines which awarded a number of prizes to Technical Brain since the amplifier's launch in 2002, despite Technical Brain was an unknown amplifier maker.
Technical Brain will continue to make new evolution for further innovation. I hope you will look forward to this.

Naoto Kurosawa, Technical Brain Ltd.
Repair & Maintenance Division

A lot of people including audio enthusiasts, audio shops and even audio critics have endorsed our advanced maintenance technology that we have cultivated through repairing many high-end audio equipments for over 30 years since our establishment in 1979.
We will provide you with the best technology to keep your beloved audio equipments at their best, based on the "One Step Ahead of Maintenance" which will allow you to use your equipments with security until 5 years or even 10 years after our maintenance. Please feel free to contact us about maintenance regardless of makers.

Measures Against Power Supply Noise
The power-supply environment is becoming worse and worse, due to the prevalence of digital devices, fluorescent lights and LED lamps. A lot of famous music halls, broadcast stations, recording studios and so on use noise cut transformers efficiently, which eliminate power supply noise that affect sound quality significantly and provide the purest power source without any maintenance. We offer noise cut transformers with a wide range of applications ranging from large capacity to home use.

Consultation For Audio & Visual Measuring
First, we listen for your displeasure and the way you want about your listening room. Then we will measure frequency and reverberation characteristics, etc. of it with measuring instruments. According to the measured values and our great deal of experience, we will find out problems including vibration issues and room acoustics and tell you how to treat them clearly and precisely. We can give you counsel about all kinds of matters in audio equipments from measuring instruments to methods. We will provide you with the best technology to keep your listening room at its best. Please feel free to contact us about maintenance regardless of makers.

Tim was a unique individual. He had a deep understanding of a vast array of subjects, and his sense of curiosity was off the charts. We rarely conversed on just audio and sound reproduction. Once, as we returned from dinner late one evening, I made a quip about phono stylus lateral tracking error having a similarity to poor tire traction. Tim then provided a rental-car traction demonstration by using the automobile emergency brake to spin one rear tire, leaving a nice black “donut” in the parking lot at Mobile Fidelity.
I blamed local teenagers when neighbors were taken aback by the sight.

In a career filled with so many achievements, what do you think was one of your greatest moments personally and artistically?
One that I would hope speaks to your audience is the Thelma Houston and Pressure Cooker direct-to-disc album (I’ve Got The Music In Me, 1975). That’s the album that brought direct-to-disc back in the modern era. Shortly before he died, I was proud when Doug Sax told me it was the most exciting record Sheffield ever made.

[h=Input Arguments]2[/h]collapse all
[h=R — Cell radius
positive real number | vector of positive real numbers]3[/h]

Cell radius, specified as a positive real number or a vector of positive real numbers. If R is a vector, then R(i) specifies the radius of the ith cell.
Radius R and height H can be scalars or vectors of the same length. For a combination of scalar and vector inputs, multicylinder replicates the scalar arguments into vectors of the same length.
Note
Either radius or height must be the same for all cells in the geometry.

Example: gm = multicylinder([1 2 3],1,'Zoffset',[0 1 3])

[h=H — Cell height
positive real number | vector of positive real numbers]3[/h]

Cell height, specified as a positive real number or a vector of positive real numbers. If H is a vector, then H(i) specifies the height of the ith cell.
Radius R and height H can be scalars or vectors of the same length. For a combination of scalar and vector inputs, multicylinder replicates the scalar arguments into vectors of the same length.
Note
Either radius or height must be the same for all cells in the geometry.

Example: gm = multicylinder(1,[1 2 3])

[h=Name-Value Pair Arguments]3[/h]Specify optional comma-separated pairs of Name,Value arguments. Name is the argument name and Value is the corresponding value. Name must appear inside quotes. You can specify several name and value pair arguments in any order as Name1,Value1,...,NameN,ValueN.
Example: gm = multicylinder([1 2],1,'Void',[true,false])

[h='ZOffset' — Z-offset for each cell
vector of 0 values (default) | vector of real numbers]3[/h]

Z-offset for each cell, specified as a vector of real numbers. ZOffset(i) specifies the Z-offset of the ith cell. This vector must have the same length as the radius vector R or height vector H.
Note
The ZOffset argument is valid only if the radius is the same for all cells in the geometry.

Example: gm = multicylinder(20,[10 10],'ZOffset',[0 10])
Data Types: double

[h='Void' — Empty cell indicator
vector of logical false values (default) | vector of logical true or false values]3[/h]

Empty cell indicator, specified as a vector of logical true or false values. This vector must have the same length as the radius vector R or the height vector H.
The value true corresponds to an empty cell. By default, multicylinder assumes that all cells are not empty.
Example: gm = multicylinder([1 2],1,'Void',[true,false])
Data Types: double

[h=Output Arguments]2[/h]collapse all
[h=gm — Geometry object
DiscreteGeometry object]3[/h]

Geometry object, returned as a DiscreteGeometry Properties object.
Tip
A cylinder has one cell, three faces, and two edges. Also, since every edge has a start and an end vertex, a cylinder has vertices. Both edges are circles, their start and end vertices coincide. Thus, a cylinder has two vertices - one for each edge.

[h=Limitations]2[/h]
• multicylinder lets you create only geometries consisting of stacked or nested cylinders. For nested cylinders, the height must be the same for all cells in the geometry. For stacked cylinders, the radius must be the same for all cells in the geometry. Use the ZOffset argument to stack the cells on top of each over without overlapping them.
• multicylinder does not let you create nested cylinders of the same radius. The call multicylinder(r,[h1,h2,...]) is not supported.
