I updated Mory... One final time.
Just to warn you, should you comment here, and I welcome it, I won't be trying to ignore you, I'll just be out of town from tomorrow till the new year, visiting my family. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, and I wish you all the best for the coming year.
Again, you guys have been absolute best fans anyone could ever ask for, and you gave Mory a lot more support than it deserved... I still welcome your presense on this forum though, and coming to the new comic when it does get running. Please use this thread to jump off on any tangents.

Eto, thank you so much for all the laughter you have provided for us through your webcomic. it seems strange to feel sorrow for the end of a comic. i think i speak for all of us when i say that we've all grown so attatched to your characters, it almost feels like we've lost a whole group of our friends.
thank you again, Eto. we will be looking for your future endeavors, and good luck!

It's so depressing to see the strip end this way. I kept checking back for additional strips....

Well, I never really did like it when things came to an end - something becomes a part of your life and then it's over. However, all things must conclude at one time or another, and so we are left the memories we have of Mory: A wonderful, funny webcomic that heck, I'm thankful for.
I'd like to say thank you Eto, for such a comic could only be made by real talent in both writing and animation. Also, thank you Echo for your excellent contributions to it. With such skill, we can be sure your new comic will rock.
So to those about to rock, we salute you - goodluck in all you do, though I really don't think you'll really need luck to succeed at all. I look forward to your new comic, and even more so to commenting on its message board!
I leave you now with the song I'm listening to as I write this, which I think fits for the most part:
I got my first real six-string
Bought it at the five-and-dime
Played it til my fingers bled
It was the summer of '69
Me and some guys from school
Had a band and we tried real hard
Jimmy quit and Jody got married
I should've known we'd never get far
Oh when I look back now
That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Yeah, I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life
Ain't no use in complainin'
When you got a job to do
Spent my evenin's down at the drive-in
And that's when I met you, yeah
Standin' on your Mama's porch
You told me that you'd wait forever
Oh and when you held my hand
I knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life
Oh yeah, back in the summer of '69
Man we were killin' time
We were young and restless
We needed to unwind
I guess nothin' can last forever - forever, no
And now the times are changin'
Look at everything that's come and gone
Sometimes when I play that old six-string
I think about ya when the world went wrong
Standin' on your Mama's porch
You told me it would last forever
Oh the way you held my hand
I knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life
Oh yeah, back in the summer of '69

*hugs Eto*
Endings are just as good as beginnings when the time is right.
Thank you for your gift of Mory, your inspiration to me and for the archives that I will take great delight in reading over and over again. I look forward to seeing what else you and Echo come up with.
Blessed Be, Echo.
Be warned, I may still hit you up for commissions. *grin*

It's sad to see a webcomic end, especially one like this. Mory was kickarse, if you don't mind me saying. The ending was great though. I look forward to the comic collab with the Echo person.
Merry meet, and mery part, and merry meet again.

Ummm... I've loved the comic, it's been lots of fun for a long time. I can understand not having any more in you. I read the end, and can imagine how long that would take to do. Don't suppose you have a random sketch laying around with Suka and Lilla having it out do you? It was one scene I just couldn't get out of my head. Gonna miss Mory.
