My husband forwarded this to me:
Masked knitters take over Stockholm and look to rest of Europe.

Marina, that is the coolest. Your husband is truly king of the knitter hubbies!
Am I the only person who worries about the tagging of live trees? In Europe, someone will probably take the tags down before the tree has to grow, but in the US, I worry about it. Especially if the yarns are of synthetic fibers and can't decompose naturally.

How on earth do they get the "tags" onto the things?!!
Yeah, tying things around trees is a bit suspect, but I've seen trees grow right around clothes lines, etc and still live for years. It may well shorten their life spans though. Can't argue with tagging the industrial stuff though--it makes it a sure sight prettier!
