I guess i shouldn't be surprised that it amazed me, but I didn't come into the game expecting a whole lot, but i do that with alot of stuff anyway.
The one feature I liked was the Duel Weild, since i suck at these game's (but somehow are my favorite) it give's me an advantage. Although not being able to throw a grenade at someone while duel wielded is annoying, even though i suck at throwing those anyway.
Favorite Weapon of choice, SMG and Plasma Rifle, i also like smacking Pop's in the back of the head when he's trying to snipe someone with the rocket launcher
Overall it's a grood game, especially the live, the live is just Flat out fucks-me-in-the-ass Fun.
We should also have Clan party night's or something.

I dunno about this dual weilding stuff. Without doing it you can't defend yourself and when you spawn of course you only have one gun. Also I noticed you can't ride on the sides of a tank and I've had alot of trouble trying to get marines to drive or even ride in vehicles. The marine driving isn't grea either. They've drove me off a cliff 5 times so far... The game thankfuly doesn't lag much but when it does it really does. I've also noticed I've been able to jump and grab a weapon form the floor above me depending on how the gun sits. The holding down the button to get in or board vehicle seems good for reloading but whne you wanna get otta the way fast your just fucked Why not be able to adjust the settings to reverse this? I'd love it the other way around. I've also have had trouble with an elite on my side wacking me with the saber and killing me when it was just a little baby flood on me. Another thing is if you read the Wraiths desciption and watch an AI control it the automatice plasma cannons fire but not when you drive it why not be able to do this on single player. And the fuel rod cannon the only reason I'd truely use the banshee didn't make it to multiplayer. These are only a few thins a dislike but there are so many more good things about it I disregard this stuff.

Mulitplayer is good, Campaign sucks because it's just like any other game with barriers you can only go one way and one way only you can't explore! god that pisses me off. overall I would give it a 9 out of 10. Bungie flat out lied to us. They said they would spend more time on the campaign but in reality they consitrated on the Multiplayer more. ugh. [end rant]

I think the gameplay for the Campaign isn't much more advanced then the first game. Storyline is bigger and more interesting, but as far as gameplay it came up short. I still like the duel weilding, and as far as defending yourself, it's fairly easy once you get the hang of it. I just hate not being able to have the ability to throw a grenade when duel weilded.
One thing i've alway's hated about LIVE game's is the people that are Cocky, big deal, you beat down someone who barely know's how to play, good for you, you fuck. YAY TOAST!

Hmm, I don't really have anything negative to say.. As far as the campaign goes, I suppose I'll have to see if I replay it as much as I did the last game in the coming years. So far, though, I'm really enjoying it, and Moves and I are one level away from the end, I believe. The whole "grabbing weapons through floors" thing that Drago mentioned was a glitch that was also in the last game; We found that, on the level Prisoner, you can grab the rockets in the center of the map without hopping on the structure they're on by running underneath it and bumping your head on it while holding down X. For more consistant and human-like AI in Halo 2, you really should try upping the difficulty level. That's where the developer's genius comes into play. And I don't really get the complaints about not being able to explore. We've had to replay some levels, and somehow we end up getting through them an entirely different way than what initially occurred to us the first time. Being that the excellent physics from the first game are still intact, I would assume that you can propel your own self to new and uncharted locales using the right amount of explosives without saying Bungie didn't put any emphasis on designing a rewarding campaign. So yeah, I love it. I knew I would.

Ok I'm posting this under the assumption that everyone has finished the campaign by now. If you haven't, then go fuck yourself whilst I ramble...
Now that I've had well over a week or so to reflect on the ending, I must say that it was crap. And I don't mean the story or the cut-scenes. I mean that in the last Halo you had this gigantic and explosive finale where you had to drive the warthog to safety through an exploding ship, and in this game what do you do? You fight an uber-Brute who kills you in one hit for no reason. We didn't even kill him. Johnson did. We were wandering around asking, "What the fuck are we supposed to do?" the entire time. Very anti-climactic. And what's with finishing the game as the Elite? Master Chief must have been out taking a leak when they were handing out the role of "hero" in this game. And did you watch the DVD yet? They pretty much say, "Yeah, we were running out of time and had to shit the game out." Weak. I'm not saying it's a bad game, though. Even with its slapped-together ending it's still worlds better than 99.9% of the other games on the market, but as far as the campaign goes, I think I've just been suckered by 3 years of hype.

There hasn't been too many game's that i liked, that have good endings, so even in this game, it doesn't surprise me.
I woulda thought that if they spent so much time on the story, they'd have a good ending.
I still haven't beaten it yet, and probably won't till the new year
