Buy it. It's awesome. If you're a fan of old-school side-scrolling shooters like Contra or Metal Slug then you'll most definitely love it. Lots of cool surprises in it. Very bloody too, which is a plus. You haven't truly lived until you've bitten a G-man's head off.

I second that motion! I would definetely buy more if they were like the old school contra. I kind of liked that Contra game for the ps2, shattered soldier, it was cool, but friggin hard. We need more like that, not like the new contra, the new one suck's donkey balls.

Agreed. I can't believe it took a game like this for me to put down Halo 2. I've beat it several times and yet I go back for more everyday.

This game pissed me off at first because i couldn't get passed the first robot guy, he annoyed the crap out of me, so i ended up quiting on it. But the next day i tried again and got further, i realized how much i suck at these type of games, but oddly enough i love them.

Dude, the first robot guy is easy. For some reason my friends have trouble with him too when they're over.
Shoot at his head, jump his arms, shoot at his head, jump his arms, drop down to avoid laser, then jump up to avoid laser, repeat...
It's the kind of game you get better at the more you play it. I can beat it now only continuing once.

yeah i finally got to the russian level, it's all crazy! i love this game. took me awhile to beat that damn boss in that level though. stupid russians!
