    Post your favorite bands.

    for me its

    1.Less than Jack
    2.Rage against the machine
    3.Mad at Gravity
4.Marty O'Donnell (not a band but I love his music)
    5.Deftones

btw J I checked out some of TMBG songs and I enjoyed them a lot because it's very unusual then what I'm used to hearing.

    Nice. Let the obsession begin.

For more recent stuff (like I let you hear) I recommend:

    The Spine
    John Henry
    Mink Car
    Factory Showroom
or, for a good career overview, you can't beat the 2-disc Dial-A-Song compilation.

Earlier stuff (before they had a band) is equally good and in some cases better, like:

    Lincoln
    &
    Apollo 18

Some people say Flood is their best, but it's actually the only one I never really got into.

Rent or buy "Gigantic" on DVD. www.giganticfilm.com It's a really good documentary that's only a couple of years old that was made about them. I've shown this to people who had never heard of them that were still very entertained by it. Amazon's review says: "Watching Gigantic (A Tale of Two Johns) is like stepping into a delightful alternate universe where wit and ingenuity are valued over sexual display and bombast."

To see just how much these guys have done, check out:

Of course some of the best stuff they've recorded was never released in stores. So check eBay and www.theymightbegiants.com and www.tmbg.com

It's badass. I've never seen 'em do it the same way twice.
