Oddworld Stranger ambles down a slightly different path, not only in terms of game play (it resembles more of an action game along the lines of Ratchet & Clank

Sadley the world is going to fps and platformers such as jak and daxter and ratchet and clank.. And since those titles have had huge succes lets reach out to those kind of gamers... You know the ones that like collecting coins and moving boxes and still shit their pants .... Lets FUCK UP ODDWORLD in other words...

Man that's a scary concept. I really hate those "run, jump, pick up fruit and repeat" games. I trust the creators of some of my favorite games will be smarter and more creative than that though.

Yes it may be heading in that direction,(The spooce spore collecting in munch's oddessey). Hopefully they won't try to appeal to a larger gamer crowd for more money,those greedy bastards.

This months issue of OXM shows some screen shots of it.. and it looks great. It has and old west look to it, it looks as if it will be as much as a platformer as munch's.
