Well I'm not sure it's over rated.. Of course only millions of copies of the game and millions of spin offs of comics, internet shows, and mercindise might be saying that it's the BEST GAME EVER....
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Just because something spin's off into, comic's, internet shows, and whatnot, doesn't mean it will be the best game ever, it just mean's they are trying to whore out the "halo" name and get more money out of everyone that is obsessed with it. Just like movie's that come out with a ton of Merchandise, even passion of the christ came out with merchandise, does that make it a great movie? I'm not saying i hate halo, I just hate how everyone think's it's the greatest game in the whole world, and it consume's their life (which halo2 will probably consume mine for quite awhile) but don't make it your life, get out more.
It's one of the only games worth playing in an industry that's been overrun with homoginized crap that mostly only appeals to small booger-picking kids. Once again, on my side of the world, everyone's too busy playing some dumb-ass sports game to know what I'm talking about when I mention something Halo-related. So the allegations that it is "overrated" don't really seem all that applicable here.
You want overrated go play a Final Fantasy game.
Or some of that horrible Dragonball Z bull-plop.
god, i haven't liked a Final Fantasy game since 7 and Tactic's, the rest are just Ball's.
