Question

I have a qustion. I have played with my dolls a LOT so they are kinda dirty and have frizzy hair. Is there a way to clean them up without damaging them?

Get a damp cloth and sprinkle a little baking soda on it...you can clean their limbs with that.

Check out the doll restoration wizard. There is a thread about it on here. It is a great resource for cleaning dolls as well as restoring them. I just cleaned my Samantha doll and she looks new again. I had gotten her used off of Ebay and who would believe that she would look this nice. I only regret that I didn't do it sooner.

Don't waste your money on the AG Cleaning Kit! It's a tiny can of baking soda and two washclothes, that's all!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works wonders! Just make sure you don't use it on the parts of the face that ere painted - eybrows, lips, or cheeks, as it will remove the paint.

Is the Restoration Wizard a Sticky? If not, moderators would you consider making it one? I've got a feeling I'm going to be referencing it quite a bit in the future, if I keep taking the dolls for adventures outside.

    Thank you!

Katie, it is in the AG-related websites sticky. Just look for JustMagicMaria's post on the first page. Also, I have sites that I use a lot bookmarked in a "Doll Info" folder in my personal favorites list on my computer. Maria's is just one of many sites I have in that folder!
