A few weeks ago I purchased Molly?s meet sweater, dickey, and skirt at a tag sale from a lady who was also selling a Molly doll. Since the outfit seemed 100% authentic, I didn?t even bother to look at the tags. Well as I?m preparing the outfit to be sold on e-bay, I noticed that there are no tags on it. There aren?t even any tag remnants, as though the tags had been cut off. I feel like the outfit has to be authentic, since the lady did have Molly and also because the outfit looks just like the real thing. It?s next to impossible to duplicate that meet sweater, you know? But there are no tags, so I?m really puzzled. Did PC ever make any Molly meet outfits without tags?

I don't think my Molly Meet sweater has a tag on it either.

I'm sort of thinking the same thing you are......a lot of things can be duplicated, but that sweater would be almost impossible to copy.
The skirt would be simple, the dickey, no problem, but not the sweater.

I just looked at my Molly's sweater (she's from the 80's) and it doesn't have a tag.
Also, if it helps, my Molly's sweater has 6 to 7 "diamonds" across and 7 vertical.

My Samantha meet outfit doesn't have any tags on it either and I know it is authentic because I bought her myself from Pleasant Company in 1998. I have looked and looked for a tag on it too.

Thanks guys! I guess it is authentic. The lack of tags was driving me crazy. I really appreciate the help.
