Hi,
I have been sent a list by my Great Aunt's insurance company of her doll collection. (It seems like she listed every piece!)
Anyhow, I seem to already have some of her collection.
I suppose that I could sell the extras on Ebay, but as people have been so nice here, I figured that perhaps I could let the people who have wishlists know if I have something on their wishlist that I am looking to get rid of.
On the other hand, I can't decide if this would be a nice gesture or bad etiquette?. Any thoughts?

Lola, I think that would be a very nice gesture on your part, and an excellent way to use the wishlists. Thank you for thinking of doing it that way.

That would be so great of you. I'm on the wish list so I know I'd appreciate a gesture like that.
PS - There was another seller who just did this. She PM'd the people who had those items in their wishlist and then posted a thread with the remaining items for sale that they didn't take.

I think it would be a nice gesture. Your Great Aunt left you her collection so that you could enjoy it, and if you already have some of the things she left you then I think it would be okay to sell the duplicates that way they can be enjoyed by someone else, instead of boxed up, which is really the point of having dolls.

I think that is a great idea! I know lots of us (myself included) are waiting for just a few more items to complete a collection. That is a very nice thought of yours!

Yes - we buy, sell and trade here. So, it is not bad etiquette in anyway.

I think that is a wonderful idea, to go by wishlists, then open to Hostboard, and then eBay. Good luck.

I think that that's a very generous idea!
