Posting Pictures???

How on earth do I post pictures in my posts? I thought I had followed the HB-provided directions, but it didn't work. Can someone give me directions for posting pics?

(I don't think I'm the only one with this problem... maybe a sticky with instructions for stuff like this would be useful...)

I need help, too. On the side of the place where I type my posts, under "Check Spelling" it says "HostBoard Markup Language images not permitted." Is this why I can't post pictures in a post? Is there a way to change the "not permitted" status?

There is a sticky at the top about posting signature pictures and avatar pictures. If you mean album pictures, a lot of people use Imagestation - free from Sony. You can also use photobucket.com. I use photobucket to host my signature pictures. After reading the sticky, if you have any other questions, I will help you further if I can. You can PM me or post here. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

PS - It's kind of tricky at first, but once you get it, it's not that bad.

Meanwhile, I discovered that the picture I tried to post didn't work because posting in the body of a message was disabled.

If you are using photobucket.com and want to post in the middle of a thread (not the signature), you use the tag<> line in photobucket. It is the middle one. Just copy and paste it in your post and the picture will show up.
