What wig size do American Girl dolls take?

I mostly use 10-11. Only once have I used a 12-13 and it worked out ok.

What about just a size 10? Would that be alright?

10" would probably be too tight. AGs customarily run aroung 11" around their heads.

If it's a size 10-11 it will be okay, but a 9-10 is too tight. Most wigs have stretchy caps so they should fit better. If you are thinking about purchasing one of the sale wigs I posted, I think they will probably fit a Mattel doll. I bought a couple of them so I hope they fit! A size 12-13 fit my PM Addy better but it was WAY too big for my other PM dolls.
