The mysteries and the doll scrapbook and some of the other titles look really good. Thanks for the info Miki!
Thanks for the list! I think the Doll Scrapbook one sounds really neat!
I found synopses of the new mysteries on a German bookstore's directory. Enjoy!
Midnight in Lonesome Hollow: A Kit Mystery
Kit is visiting Aunt Millie in Mountain Hollow, Kentucky, in 1934. When a professor arrives to study Kentucky mountain traditions, Kit is thrilled to help with her research--until it becomes clear that somebody doesn't want "outsiders" nosing around. Kit decides to find out who's making trouble, even if it means venturing into Lonesome Hollow in the dark of night. Girls will enjoy solving the mystery right along with Kit. This latest book from Kathleen Ernst, previously nominated for both the Edgar and the Agatha Award, also includes an illustrated "Looking Back" section to provide historical context.
Shadows on Society Hill: An Addy Mystery
In the winter of 1866, Addy's poppa gets a new job. His employer, Mr. Radisson, even offers the Walker family a home of their own on the grounds of his fine house in Society Hill. Addy's delight quickly evaporates as she realizes that Mr. Radisson's house holds frightening secrets--one of which leads straight back to the plantation where Addy's family was held in slavery only two years before. Girls will enjoy solving the mystery right along with Addy. This latest book from award-winning author Evelyn Coleman includes an illustrated "Looking Back" section to provide historical context.
A Light in the Cellar: A Molly Mystery
Molly wishes that she and her English friend, Emily, had exciting volunteer jobs that really helped in the fight to win World War Two. Instead, they're magazine delivery girls at Oak Knoll Hospital. Soon, however, Molly and Emily start to suspect that something very un-patriotic is going on at Oak Knoll--and their snooping leads them into deep trouble! Girls will enjoy solving the mystery right along with Molly and Emily. This latest book from Sarah Masters Buckey, a two-time Agatha Award nominee, also includes an illustrated "Looking Back" section to provide historical context.
Thanks for the list. I love the Mysteries and am looking forward to having 2 books for Nicki!!
Thanks for you post. But I'm kind of disappointed. I can't wait for the new mystery books, but I was hoping for a Kirsten mystery. They have every other doll but her. Thanks!
Wow!! Thanks for the info!! Excited on the Mystery books!!
But seeing that Nicki's book is set to be released on Feb 20, 2007, that means Nicki will be released that day too!
