The all inclusives in Mexico and Punta Cana are nice vacations for families with teens. There are beautiful beaches, snorkeling, scuba, horseback riding, gorgeous pools and the beautiful ocean. It is pretty affordable, too.

The Bahamas! Atlantis specifically, but it can get pretty expensive (especially during the winter). Or other places like Atlantis... resorts in the Bahamas or Caribbean. Those places are nice for family vacations because adults can do what they want while teenagers do what they want, and you don't have to worry about safety or anything...

Are you thinking about continental destinations or more like the Caribbean?
If you are considering the Caribbean, I would think about St. Lucia!
My DH & I had our honeymoon there in Jan several years ago and we loved it! It was very nice weather, warm enough to swim & snorkel and just a beautiful place. We stayed at a Sandals resort and although it was really expensive (at least for us especially as newlyweds) we have never regreted spending the money because it was just the best vacation ever. Also, have you considered a cruise? I've been on two with family & friends and they are very relaxing with tons of activities for all ages.
HTH!

Hard to beat Hawaii as the preferred winter vacation spot. Living in paradise (Carmel, CA) means it is always hard to think of a better place to go on vacation. Fortunately, there is always Hawaii.

PM me if you want pictures from Mexico or Punta Cana. How old are your teens? From what I can remember, they were older teens, right?
