Katie's Lost Marisol

I know this might be a little crazy, but what if each of us transferred $5.00 into Katie's Paypal account so she could buy one of the BIN Marisols that are on ebay right now? Is that allowed? At even just one or two dollars, it could eventually add up.

I was thinking the same thing, but I was going to wait until Katie had a chance to look for Marisol again. If she can't find her, then I'm definitely in. If we all pull together, we could help her out without it being a financial hardship to anyone.

Yes, My Hubby and I talked about this a lot last night. I know it wouls not be HER Marisol, but if she does not find her own sweet Marisol, it would be great if we could help her add a new Marisol to her dolly family.Count us in if anyone is able to arrange this.

ALSO- Would it be better to give the $ directly to Katie, or for us to find and purchase a Marisol, then give it to her?
I don't know how someone might feel about being given money, but a doll would be different. At the same time, giving her $ would allow her to choose her own new special Marisol, if she can't fine hers.

But if we send the money directly to her Paypal account, then it's anonymous to the rest of us, and we can let the money collect in Paypal without any one of us trying to collect it.

Bugs posted in the other thread that she already has a Marisol (NIB) that she'd be willing to ship her ASAP. Maybe we should get $$ to Bugs.

I agree. I can see where that might be easier, and Katie would have direct access to the funds so the second she saw the Marisol for her, she could grab her.It makes sense.
*EDIT* We were posting at the same time. How sweet of you Bugs! Paypaling directly to Bugs might be the way to go then.

Yeah, it might be more meaningful if we all "found" her a doll on Ebay or at the MCM sale and gave it to her, like we did for Ria (AGTeacher) when some members chipped in and got her Jess.
