Friends?

I spent about an hour talking with an awesome CS lady (wish I asked her name)while I was placing an order she was talking about Felicity's movie..which got us on the topic of the other dolls. Some dolls have friends that are integral parts of the books and other don't. So we discussed Kirsten who has her cousins whom she plays with a lot and singing bird. But singing bird moved away......

I haven't read all of Josefina's yet - but I am done the first three books and no friend has been mentioned yet...The CS rep wasn't sure there who they would choose. But this did get me thinking. I want to re-read all books now!!

I asked her if they were planning a movie for every doll and she wasn't sure. Sam's was a sucess so they are going with the flow.

WOW this is my longest post ever!~ Well let me know what you think - who should be the friends......

I really think that Ruthie should be next! (after Elizabeth, of course!) and then, after Ruthie, one of Molly's friends. Linda is her name I believe? No wait, Molly has 2 friends doesnt she? Anyway, those are the ones.

I saw an article that mentioned Kit being one of the three stories with movie rights. This was about 4 months ago though.

I am really looking forward to the Felicity movie! She is my second favorite doll, after Kirsten. I would like to see them do a friend doll for Kirsten, but would they choose Singing Bird, Lisbeth or Anna? mmmm......

Just a note, Julia Roberts owns property in New Mexico, & the state has some good movie incentives (from what I've been told), so I would be surprised if AG didn't come out with a Josefina movie. Also, with the Rancho of the Swallows just so perfect for a set already.... - -I know my daughters would really love it...

Josefina has a Pueblo Indian friend named Mariana. I believe she only shows up in Happy Birthday, Josefina! though. I think for Molly they will make Emily, the english girl. However, I would really like it if they make both Linda and Susan! In the current catalog, there is a page where you can draw a line from historical girl to her friend so I think whomever the friends are listed there are the ones they are most likely to make dolls for.
