newbie questions

I've got a few questions if someone has a few minutes to answer.

*There is another board, playthings something? What is the url?

*Is there someplace to get help with purchasing bitty babies in particular? I'm interested in getting one that is a first release. I've been buying off of ebay and so far don't think I've been burned, but well, I wouldn't be able to tell now would I. Anyone willing to help me try and figure out what I have?

*What is in Oshkosh? I'm gathering there is a sale there this weekend.

Do the AG Stores have seconds? I'm wondering where all the stuff I'm seeing on ebay comes from. I saw the link to the baskets in another post. (thank you!) I had no idea and bought one off of ebay. Not a new one thank heavens but still a pretty penny. I wanted an older one anyway. But turns out it's bent and the heart doesnt play. [img]frown.gif[/img] Anyone know how to reshape baskets?

I live near a hanna outlet store and know that some folks will buy from then list on ebay and also buy for internet friends etc. Does that happen with AG stuff too?

Personal shoppers? How does one get one of those?

Welcome to the board! What part of Oregon are you in? I live in Corvallis. As far as the AG outlet is concerned, there is only one and it's in Wisconsin. I think most of their things are acually just discontinued or soon-to-be discontinued things. I've heard that they mostly have girl size clothing more than doll stuff. Hi Octavia, if you notice on some of the ebay sellers locations, it will be Oshkosh so I always figured they just shopped the outlet store a lot since they live there. I'd love to be closer to it but I guess OH is a little closer to it than OR so I shouldn't complain too much! [img]smile.gif[/img]
