I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm still in the dark...

What do the various numbers printed on the back of dolls' necks mean? For instance, Ayame (AGT #4) has 149/16 printed below the Pleasant Company logo. Is this a factory code? A mold number? I'm just so curious...

    Any thoughts?

I'm curious about this too. My Addy is the only one of mine that has it.

148/16 on the back of Addy means that she is a first-run German-made doll...or she has the German facemold even if she is just PM. Some AGoTs have this, too, I believe.

My Addy is the only AG I have with numbers, too.
