We returned this week from a fun visit to Chicago!
Had a great time, visited with some friends and yes-we did visit AGP 3 times!
Let me just say that Molly (and maybe me too)should start looking for work! Yikes!
Anyway-
As we were shopping a 'Dad' was chatting with a AG employee.
He had a little booklet made up of torn our spiral note book paper, stapled together with his daughter's (assuming here)list.
Many pages-with lots of little girl writing on it and cut out pictures from the cataloger.
We could see that a number of pages had stars drawn on them-some had more stars than others.
The conversation was very serious and 'Dad' had a basket nearly filled with wonderful boxes.
Some little lady is going to be so happy when 'Dad' gets home!
Gotta love a Dad that takes on the Chicago store on a Saturday afternoon!

Oh, Beth, that's a SWEET story! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I always wished my father would've ordered something for my dear Molly.

By the way, what did you and Molly get? Did you preorder Emily?

That is such a sweet story! Thanks for sharing.

Now, spill the beans-- what all did you get? Did you see the show? Did you eat at the cafe? How was it?

What did we get?
Is there anything left?
Well,Molly and I had a list from three DGDs.
Molly's Camp Gonagan set and saddle shoes for Princess Hanna.
Kit's School day jumper set for Princess Ariel.
The sweet Bitty Fairy set for Princess Emma.
And then:
My 'girls' who graciously stayed home 'needed' a few things.
Josefina got the Summer riding outfit and Christmas set(the cute little chicken and lantern)
Addy got the Flower picking dress and the two tone boots.
Sam wanted the Christmas dress.
And then Molly chose the Mystery sweatsuit as her outfit.(gosh it's cute on her!)

I'll get the 'girls' together for a photo.
Had to weigh the options of buying at the store and paying tax or having it shipped and using the discount code-so naturally needed to buy enough to make it pay.

Now I've promised myself and the 'girls' that I will sew a few things for them-not that they seem to 'need' anything.

We didn't get to see the show
or eat at the Cafe.
The day we went with our Ag friend (Sat) it was a fun Kaya event and booked solid.
So we ate at Foodlife at Watertower Place.
Very fun anyway!
One of the girls bought the Bitty Twin outfit-the multi color ruffly set-and put it on her Nellie.
It is darling on her and the shoes fit perfectly.
She also got the matching outfit for her first day at preschool.

We had such a fun day!
