Use acetone-free nailpolish remover. Be careful not to get it on your doll's face, as it will remove the face paint that colors their cheeks, eyebrows and mouth.

I got an AG doll one time that had red fingernail polish on her toenails and fingernails. All I had to do was flake it off with my fingernails. It came off easy and didn't hurt the vinyl at all.

I was using a Magic Eraser for some clean-up on a Molly I was fixing up for a neighborhood girl, and tried it out on her blue fingernail and toenail polish. It took some scrubbing, but it removed all the polish!
