Rescued Samantha Update

A few months ago I posted about the poor Sam I rescued from a horrible freshmen project at school. I planned to fix her and give her to the little girl Samantha next door, assuming her mother agreed.

Well, my mom and I finally got around to talking to her yesterday and it's gonna happen! She actually seemed pretty happy about it (her daughter's in elementary school and her mom is battling the Bratz revolution. She refuses to buy them for her daughter, and I definitely don't blame her.)

So today we washed Sam's hair in wig shampoo and then downy dunked her. About a week or two ago I also restrung her successfully. And boy was I proud. After restringing and restuffing her she feels brand new. Tomorrow we're going to steam her hair and restyle it. We also ordered the meet outfit for her today.

Anyhow. I was really excited about it and thought I'd share. I'll post and album once everything is finished. [img]wink.gif[/img]
